This is one of my favorite scrapbooking organizers - The Glass Jar.

Actually, I don’t just use them for scrapbooking supplies. I have them all over my house. In the kitchen, I use them for candies. There’s just something sweet and nostalgic about a glass jar filled with something colorful.

I have all shapes and sizes. My favorite is the Apothecary jar. They range in size from small to huge.

During a recent trip to Michael’s I saw some small pint size jars in the scrapbooking section. They were only like $10-12 for 4. But I think you can get the jelly canning jars for cheaper. Or do what I did.

Everytime you finish off the jelly, pasta sauce or olives rinse it out and pop it in the dishwasher. And Voila! A lovely little jar to display your ribbons, buttons or whatever embellishment you need to store. According to what kind of food came out of the jar, you may want to soak it in vinegar to get the smell to go away. You don’t want your ribbons smelling of marinara. Glass jars are definately a great scrapbooking organizer.
